Running the rewarding race
I had a run few nights ago, one that I asked God "which would you rather me do? Run, or just spend time with You?" God replied "why not do both?", and so it happened.
Down on my run, God started His conversation with me, asking me what I was running for. Thinking about the 6 pacs, and the amount of weight I need to lose, I told him just that.
In life, we run many race. Every race has it's own competitors, its challengers, and it's rewards. For us, our reward is already there. All we need to do is to run the race, keep the faith and believe that the reward's there, and run towards the reward. As you finish the race, God is there, waiting for you with the reward. He wants to bless you. He wants only the best for you, that one day, we can speak like how 2 Tim 4:7 says: "I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith."
Fight the good fight of faith, run the race, finish it, claim your reward: the faith you've kept from the start of your faith, and finished it knowing that it has not failed (:
